Norfolk Coast RDA is a registered charity run entirely by volunteers. Registered Charity no. 1181672
Although riders subsidise the cost of their lesson (20%), as does the riding centre, we pay 60% of the total cost. We also need to raise funds to cover insurance, admin, training of coaches and volunteers, first aid courses and equipment. Some examples of equipment we have purchased thanks to generous donations include: ground poles, games poles, mirror for the outdoor arena, and riding hats.
£30 WILL TRAIN A NEW VOLUNTEER
£40 WILL PAY FOR 4 RIDING SESSIONS
£100 WILL PAY FOR A RIDING HAT
£500 WILL PAY FOR OUR INSURANCE
Your support makes all the difference. Please click if you are interested in making a donation, to ensure that we can provide our riders with an opportunity to reach their goals.
On the right you can see a rider enjoying one of our fundraising events, a jumping clinic with Norfolk's very own Piggy March (nee French) who we are lucky to count as our patron. Below, Zena, our Treasurer is participating with Bella, in fundraising at Burnham Market Horse Trials in 2019. Along with the Magpie Centre we were kindly lent the equipment by Barefoot Retreats in order to raise funding.

Norfolk Coast RDA is registered with the government's Gift Aid scheme so we are able to reclaim, direct from the Inland Revenue, the basic-rate tax paid on donations by tax-paying supporters. This amounts to an extra 25p for every £1 donated - at absolutely no cost or inconvenience to the donor.
Higher-rate taxpayers will benefit personally by being able to reclaim the difference between the basic and higher-rate tax paid.
So if you are a UK taxpayer and pay Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax at least equal in value to the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your charitable donations in the tax year, we would be very grateful if you could complete a Gift Aid declaration. We will do all the rest. Thank you very much.
Grey Seal Coffee Roasters started five years ago, in a farmyard in Glandford, a small village on the North Norfolk coast, just outside Blakeney. Their mission from the beginning was to bring the "third wave of coffee" to Norfolk and our wider region, the recognition that coffee is not just a commodity but a rich and artisanal tapestry of origins and flavours similar to that that found in wine and cheese and other speciality food products.

Grateful thanks to Sara and Allan Ponder for their fantastic support in running fund raising activities and our famous quiz night. Sara also volunteers as a qualified RDA Coach and is seen here with one of our original riders.

Keith Nash is a professional watercolour artist living and working in Norfolk. His work is a blend of traditional and contemporary styles, capturing the changing light and tones of the East Anglian landscape and marine environments. www.keithnash.co.uk. Keith donated one of his incredible pictures for our raffle last year and is seen here with our Chairman Amanda Brownlow who has been involved with RDA for 30 years.
We appreciate the support of artist Sally Bird who has generously painted beautiful watercolours of our horses for our annual Christmas cards for the last two years. Thank you Sally!
We are very grateful to GJL Animal Feeds for sponsoring rosettes for our dressage competitions. GJL Animal Feeds http://www.gjlanimalfeeds.co.
ZT Ceramics hosts Artisans in a Garden in the summer at Oaklands Farm, where local artisans bring crafts to sell and we have a tombola and serve coffee and cakes. Zena also organises our Dressage Fundraising Competitions at Oaklands Farm
