Helping children and adults with disabilities to develop their confidence and abilities through horse riding…
We welcome riders with physical, mental and learning difficulties. You can ride for fun or take the challenge of achieving grade tests or entering RDA competitions. Mini-endurance riding has recently been added to our portfolio.

Our lovely coaches are trained and qualified to provide the best experience for you and our county physiotherapist is available to help. Well-trained volunteers will provide extra support wherever needed.
Whilst we try to offer horse- riding to our clients, we recognise that it is not appropriate for everyone. As a result, we are developing our Equine Experience which offers gentle and engaging non-riding experiences, and after assessment of the client, can include some or all of the following activities:-
- Feed ( feed, mix, hay) – see, touch, smell
- Stable (empty) – see, smell, hear
- Tack (saddle/bits) – see, smell, touch -clean
- Pony – see, touch, smell, hear, - groom
- Pony – see, touch, smell, hear – lead
In addition, we can work with clients on a one-to-one basis to build their communication and interpersonal skills by relating to a pony.
