Norfolk Coast RDA is a registered charity run entirely by volunteers.  Registered Charity no. 1181672

Not everything is free. We have to pay for the horses and ponies so they enjoy hay and bags of feed, regular shoeing and hoof trimming by the farrier, rugs to keep the horses dry and warm in the winter and annual flu jabs and dental checks by the vet to ensure the horses stay fit and healthy. We also have to pay for training volunteers and for equipment.

£10 WILL PAY FOR RIDING EQUIPMENT
£30 WILL TRAIN A NEW VOLUNTEER
£50 WILL PAY FOR 4 RIDING SESSIONS
£100 WILL PAY FOR A RIDING HAT
£500 WILL PAY FOR OUR INSURANCE
£5000 WILL BUY US A TRAILER FOR BEACH RIDES & COMPETITIONS

Your support makes all the difference. Please click if you are interested in making a donation, to ensure that we can provide our riders with an opportunity to reach their goals.

On the right you can see a rider enjoying on of our fundraising events, a jumping clinic with Norfolk's very own Piggy March (nee French). Below, Zena, our Treasurer is participating with Bella, in fundraising at Burnham Market Horse Trials in 2019. Along with the Magpie Centre we were kindly lent the equipment by Barefoot Retreats in order to raise funding. RDA is delighted to be their charity of the year.

We always need bucket and box shakers for fundraising. If you can spare a day to help with that at a variety of venues, please let us know.

Gift Aid

Norfolk Coast RDA is registered with the government's Gift Aid scheme so we are able to reclaim, direct from the Inland Revenue, the basic-rate tax paid on donations by tax-paying supporters. This amounts to an extra 25p for every £1 donated - at absolutely no cost or inconvenience to the donor.

Higher-rate taxpayers will benefit personally by being able to reclaim the difference between the basic and higher-rate tax paid.

So if you are a UK taxpayer and pay Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax at least equal in value to the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your charitable donations in the tax year, we would be very grateful if you could complete a Gift Aid declaration. We will do all the rest. Thank you very much.

Grey Seal Coffee Roasters started five years ago, in a farmyard in Glandford, a small village on the North Norfolk coast, just outside Blakeney. Their mission from the beginning was to bring the "third wave of coffee" to Norfolk and our wider region, the recognition that coffee is not just a commodity but a rich and artisanal tapestry of origins and flavours similar to that that found in wine and cheese and other speciality food products.

ZT Ceramics donate a percentage of their takings at our coffee mornings from the sale of their unusual and beautifully made pottery. Zena started working with clay in 2016 by taking a weekly class locally in Norfolk... inspired, like many, by the great pottery throwdown. She loved it and slowly started bringing clay home to work on between classes. So now she’s hooked! Find her on Facebook at ZT Ceramics.
